RING A DING DING tour
3 November 2011
Join us on an epic, though tiny, table-top voyage of discovery, where your fingers and noses will never be far from the action. An immersive, interactive and multi-sensory show for children aged 3 – 6 and their families.
RING-A-DING-DING, written and directed by Tim Webb, will bring you on a magical journey to help a girl called Alice track down her very naughty dog, who has stopped chasing his tail only to embark on an remarkable expedition by motorbike, boat and hot air balloon to faraway places and cosmic wonderlands. Expect to meet a host of colourful characters along the way, who will ask you to solve problems, overcome obstacles, create music and even sniff out some smelly cheese.
The show will feature hand crafted puppets and props, made entirely from recycled materials, by Oily Cart designer Claire de Loon working in collaboration with South African wire worker Mogothi. New compositions from Oily Cart’s Music Director Max Reinhardt will be played live on musical instruments made especially for the show out of recycled materials by Jamie Linwood. We're delighted to be working with a talented group of performers for the show, which includes Griff Fender and Alicia McKenzie as performers, Elayce Ismail as the puppeteer and George Panda as the percussionist.
