Oily Cart requires a company stage manager for TUBE
This spring, Oily Cart has created a new production, TUBE, a kinesthetic adventure for children under 11 with profound and multiple learning disabilities
In May we will create 2 further versions of this production, one for children under 11 on the Autistic Spectrum and another for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years.
These productions will be a unique experience in which the tube is transformed into a whole range of multi-sensory objects. A tactile wonderland will be conjured up from a fabulous variety of tubes - tubes filled with sound, tubes that puff out gentle breezes and the scents of the natural world, tubes glistening with kaleidoscopic colours to delight and entrance our young audience.
These three versions of TUBE will make two national tours to venues, nurseries and special schools, including a two week run in the Clore Studio at London’s Unicorn Theatre.
We are looking for an experienced and organised Company Stage Manager with technical skills, and a clean driving licence to join the team.

Salary: £516.91 per week, plus per diems and accommodation provided for out of London tour dates.
Tour dates
Summer tour
Rehearsals: Weeks beginning Monday 13th May 2013 and 20th May 2013.
National tour: Monday 27th May - Wednesday 10th July 2013 inclusive.
Autumn tour
Rehearsals: Week beginning Monday 9th September 2013
National tour: Monday 16th September - Wednesday 30th October 2013 inclusive
