Oily Cart are seeking a puppeteer for new show THERE WAS AN OLD WOMAN
Our winter 2014-2015 show will be a new interactive, immersive and multi-sensory adventure for all the senses. The audience of 3-5 year olds, their family and friends will join us to help us solve the problem with shoes.
It seems the footwear is getting all mixed up. That woman has a welly on one foot, and a flip flop on the other. That man over there is wearing two bin lids on his feet. Some people don’t have any shoes at all! What’s going on? Has that woman who lives in a shoe and has so many children got anything to do with this?
For our Xmas run in the Blue Room at the Southbank Centre and subsequent national tour, we need an astonishingly creative and very funny puppeteer who, as if that wasn’t enough, can sing like an angel.
Salary: £509.13 per week plus per diems and accommodation on tour.
Have a look at www.oilycart.org.uk for further details of the company and our work, then send your c.v. and photo, with a covering letter saying why you’d like to work with us to firstname.lastname@example.org.
