Oily Cart, renowned for their 'wonderlands', 360° theatre experiences for children from 2 to 4, their families and friends, go with their young audiences on a voyage of discovery though the landscapes of Shakespeare's imagination and the music of his language. Inspired by The Winter's Tale, our quest is to find the baby who has disappeared from the Court. Together we will travel over the salty sea to the world of the Shepherdess that seems to be all woven of wool and from there to the scented floral bower of the Gardener. Our guide will be the Bear who can make time go slowly, fast forward - or even freeze.
There will be beautiful costumes that sometimes unfold to become the whole set, together with enchanting live music, evocative scents and a multitudes of delightful textures.
